2. Nature of Taskly's Service

Taskly is an online intermediary and marketplace. Taskly connects Customers with independent Taskers and Pros and provides platform tools for posting, responding, messaging, payment facilitation, access control, reviews, moderation, and support.

Taskly and Taskly Pro are different flows under the same Platform. Taskly is for smaller fixed-scope tasks with platform payment handling. Taskly Pro is for larger quote-based projects where the initial Taskly service is digital access to interested Pro profiles and responses.

Taskly does not perform, supervise, guarantee, warrant, or insure the underlying task or project. Taskly is not a construction company, repair company, cleaning company, moving company, employer, agency, subcontractor, or representative of Taskers or Pros.

3. Customer and Tasker/Pro Relationship

  • The service contract for the underlying work is between the Customer and the selected Tasker or Pro.
  • Taskly is not a party to that service contract, except for providing platform, payment, access, communication, moderation, and support tools.
  • Taskly's support review does not replace courts, regulators, insurers, professional bodies, or other competent authorities.

4. Independent Provider Status

  • Taskers and Pros are independent providers. They are not employees, agents, subcontractors, partners, franchisees, or representatives of Taskly.
  • Taskly does not control the provider's work method, tools, materials, schedule, tax status, legal form, qualifications, or pricing, except for platform rules needed to operate the marketplace.
  • Providers are responsible for deciding whether they can lawfully and safely accept a task or project.

5. Provider Obligations

  • Providers must provide accurate profile, identity, category, city, portfolio, availability, and pricing information.
  • Providers must have the lawful right, skills, permits, licenses, certificates, registrations, insurance, tools, and materials needed for the services they offer where required.
  • Providers must comply with tax, invoice, accounting, employment, social security, consumer, safety, building, professional, and other applicable laws.
  • Providers must communicate respectfully, arrive as agreed, perform only lawful work, protect customer data, and avoid misleading claims.
  • Pros confirm they have permission to upload portfolio, before/after, and customer-site photos and that the content is not misleading.

6. Customer Obligations

  • Customers must provide accurate task or project information, including scope, photos, location/city, access requirements, safety concerns, timing, and any relevant limitations.
  • Customers must request only lawful services and must provide safe, reasonable access for agreed visits or work.
  • Customers must communicate promptly and respectfully and must not misuse the Platform for fake requests, spam, harassment, discrimination, illegal content, or data collection unrelated to the service.
  • Customers must not bypass protected Taskly payment, contact, address, or access flows where the Platform requires those steps.

7. Taskly Payments

  • Taskly task payments are handled through Stripe or another third-party payment service provider. Taskly does not store full card numbers.
  • Taskly may authorize, hold, capture, release, refund, or pause payment according to the task lifecycle, cancellation status, customer approval, automatic confirmation, dispute review, chargeback, fraud concern, or legal requirement.
  • After completion is approved or automatically confirmed, Taskly may capture payment, deduct its commission/platform fee, and make the remaining amount payable to the Tasker subject to payout checks.
  • Disputes or suspected rule violations may pause payout while Taskly support reviews available information.

8. Taskly Pro Access Fee

  • Posting a Pro Request is free.
  • The Pro Access Fee is paid only after one or more Pros respond and the Customer chooses to unlock interested Pro profiles, responses, messages, rough quotes, portfolios, and in-app chat.
  • The Pro Access Fee pays for digital platform access and does not guarantee a final quote, site visit, hiring, availability, project completion, quality, safety, or result.
  • In Taskly Pro, the underlying project price is agreed directly between Customer and Pro unless Taskly introduces a clearly disclosed platform payment flow.
  • Taskly Pro does not mean Taskly performs the project and does not guarantee that a project will be completed. Taskly does not take Pro commission where the product copy states this model.

9. Verification, Review, and Approval Disclaimers

  • Verified, reviewed, or approved means Taskly has performed current administrative platform checks, such as profile review, category/city approval, portfolio review, identity/payment setup checks, or rule compliance review.
  • These checks do not guarantee provider skill, license status, qualification, quality, timing, safety, suitability, legality, or final result.
  • Customers should use their own judgment, ask questions, check credentials where important, and take reasonable precautions in home-service settings.

10. User Content, Reviews, and Portfolio

  • User content includes task descriptions, Pro requests, photos, portfolio photos, before/after images, reviews, ratings, messages, profile text, and support submissions.
  • Users confirm they have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share their content and that it is accurate, lawful, non-misleading, and does not violate privacy or intellectual property rights.
  • Taskly may store, display, process, translate, rank, moderate, remove, restrict, or use content as needed to operate, improve, secure, and enforce the Platform.
  • Reviews must be honest, relevant, lawful, and non-abusive. Taskly may remove fake, abusive, discriminatory, irrelevant, retaliatory, or misleading reviews.
  • Taskly may remove misleading, low-quality, copied, illegal, or privacy-violating portfolio content.

11. Prohibited Behavior

  • Users must not post fake requests, spam, scams, illegal services, illegal content, harassment, discrimination, threats, sexually explicit content, or misleading claims.
  • Users must not collect, scrape, sell, or misuse personal data outside the purpose of arranging the relevant task or project.
  • Users must not share direct contact details, exact addresses, or payment instructions before the allowed stage, especially in Taskly Pro before the access/site-visit flow permits it.
  • Users must not bypass Taskly payment rules or protected Taskly Pro access/contact rules, manipulate reviews, impersonate others, or interfere with platform security.

12. Suspension and Termination

  • Taskly may warn, restrict, suspend, deactivate, or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, repeated complaints, repeated cancellations/no-shows, illegal content, unsafe behavior, off-platform circumvention, payment issues, misleading information, or violation of these Terms.
  • Taskly will provide notice where appropriate, but may act urgently without prior notice for fraud, safety, security, legal, payment, or serious platform-risk reasons.
  • Users may contact support or admin@tasklyco.com to ask for review of an account action. Taskly may request additional information before deciding whether to restore access.

13. DSA-Style Notice and Action

  • To report illegal content or conduct, contact Taskly support or admin@tasklyco.com.
  • A useful notice should include the content or profile URL/identifier, task or Pro request ID if available, the reason you believe it is illegal or against rules, supporting evidence, your contact details, and a good-faith confirmation that the report is accurate.
  • Taskly may review the notice, request more information, restrict or remove content, suspend accounts, preserve records, notify affected users where appropriate, and explain the outcome where feasible.
  • Abusive or knowingly false notices may lead to restrictions.

14. Ranking and Transparency

  • Taskly may rank, sort, recommend, or display Taskers, Pros, tasks, and responses using factors such as city/category match, availability, response speed, rating/reviews, profile completeness, verification/review status, customer preferences, portfolio quality, reliability, platform safety signals, and recency.
  • Taskly Pro matching may consider approved cities and categories, portfolio relevance, response quality, customer request details, and platform trust signals.
  • If Taskly introduces paid boosts or paid placement, paid placement will be clearly labelled where required.
  • Ranking affects visibility and matching but is not a fully automated legal decision about a user's rights.

15. Consumer Rights and Dispute Channels

  • Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory consumer rights under Bulgarian or EU law.
  • Withdrawal and cancellation rights may differ for completed services, urgent repairs, custom work, and digital access that starts immediately at the customer's request, including unlocked Pro responses.
  • Customers should contact Taskly support first where possible. Users may also contact applicable Bulgarian/EU consumer protection or alternative dispute resolution bodies. These Terms do not include outdated EU ODR platform references.

16. Limitation of Liability

  • Taskly is not liable for quality, delays, non-performance, property damage, personal injury, provider conduct, customer conduct, legality of requested/provided services, tax issues, permits, licenses, or off-platform agreements, except where mandatory law says otherwise.
  • Taskly is responsible for providing the Platform with reasonable care, but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect matching, specific results, or error-free operation.
  • Any liability limitation applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory Bulgarian and EU law and does not limit rights that cannot legally be limited.

17. Privacy and Related Policies

Personal data is handled under the Privacy Policy. Payments, commission, cancellation, refunds, and chargebacks are handled under the Payment & Commission Policy and Cancellation & Refund Policy.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Bulgarian law. Bulgarian courts have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in the consumer's place of residence.
